The European line freight rate increased by 307 US dollars to 6786 US dollars/TEU, an increase of 4.7%.

Statistics show that since the second quarter, the SCFI freight index has shown a continuous upward trend in 12 weeks in 13 weeks. The current freight rate has increased significantly compared with the beginning of the year, especially for the eastern US route. The current freight rate is 9254 US dollars/FEU. The level is almost twice that of about US$4,700/FEU at the beginning of the year.
However, the SCFI index only records the basic freight rate trend. Looking at July and August, the major shipping companies will start a new round of surcharge increases. If the relevant additional costs are included, the current Far East to the US East route The price can reach 15,000-18,000 US dollars/FEU, the western US line has also exceeded 10,000 US dollars/FEU, and the European line freight rate is about 15,000-20,000 US dollars/FEU!
